Divorce is a life altering event that impacts the entire family structure. This workshop helps parents to minimize the negative impact of divorce/separation on children while highlighting the benefits of working together as partners. br /br /Topics include: br /Defining divorce/dissolution and its processbr /The responsibilities of parents during this processbr /The emotional impact parents are experiencingbr /Allowing parents to understand that a divorce/dissolution follows the process of grief and loss and identifying their stagebr /br /Defining and identifying parenting styles and awareness of the dos and donts of parenting. Our evidence-based, therapeutic models are governed in Motivational Interviewing, Social Learning Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Based Therapy, Accelerated Learning Strategies, Experiential Techniques and Strength Based Approaches.
