Class Description

IMPULSE CONTROL AND PERSONAL GROWTH FOR JUVENILES AND ADULTS

Program Overview

Teaching clients the tools necessary to make positive changes in
their lives, Petty Theft Class is designed to help individuals develop
a sense of responsibility and respect for themselves and others. By identifying their values and belief systems, clients are given the means to develop a positive self-image, empathy for others and an understanding of socially responsible behavior. The program teaches basic and essential tools for creating positive behavior change. Clients develop an understanding of learned behaviors and social reinforcements in an Accelerated Learning workshop design. By creating a positive and diverse learning environment, using experienced and skilled facilitators and incorporating today's most effective treatment modalities, this seminar provides an exceptionally effective forum for creating long-lasting emotional and behavioral change. I.S.A.E.'s workshops combine topic-specific information, key elements of Cognitive Behavioral Approaches and Social Learning Theory.

All of our instructors are trained in components of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Social Learning Theory. Research supports Cognitive Behavioral treatment methods as one of the most effective in creating emotional and behavioral change in the shortest amount of time while also being exceptionally well suited for educational group formats.
