Program Overview
A powerful and engaging seminar to meet the needs of female offenders, the Female Offenders program incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral approaches and Social Learning Theory. The program is highly interactive and offers women the opportunity to address issues unique to their population in a safe and controlled environment.
Female Offenders adheres to the philosophy that many problems are consistent with the client's beliefs about themselves and the world. Self-defeating behaviors often result from thoughts generated from core beliefs and feelings. The highly structured techniques used are designed to increase awareness of motives and offer alternatives to negative behavior.
Topics Include: Values Clarification Self Esteem / Self Image Evaluation Relationships Communication Skills Personal Safety Boundary Setting Limit Setting Goal Setting
Format: I.S.A.E. will accommodate all indigent clients as determined by the referring agency. Clients must submit a 300-word essay to the referral source within 1 week of attending.
